GHG Solutions Ltd, a leading UK-based claims management business, is seeking an experienced Casualty Claims Adjuster to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of our Casualty Division.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to manage a diverse portfolio of liability claims, including Employers', Public & Products, TPPD, and CAR claims. As a Casualty Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a caseload of up to 80 files, demonstrating effective and proactive claims handling.
  • Conducting thorough site investigations in a timely manner.
  • Handling claims from cradle to grave and investigating and reporting only.
  • Liaising with insurers, policyholders, witnesses, and other experts where appropriate and managing their expectations.
  • Determining the correct liability outcome, controlling indemnity spend, and negotiating the resolution of claims within our Principals' authority.
  • Understanding, interpreting, and applying policy cover and its wording to various specialist classes as appropriate.
  • Demonstrating and adhering to agreed SLAs.
  • Preparing detailed and concise reports, which clearly explain your investigation, legal liability, and quantum recommendations.
  • Providing technical advice, support, and guidance to all stakeholders and proposing bespoke solutions in a professional manner.
  • Keeping abreast of case law and legal developments.
  • Assisting in developing new business and building upon existing relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Possessing a can-do attitude and collaborating effectively with colleagues and all stakeholders.
  • Promoting GHG Solutions Ltd's ethics and values.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 A' Levels and GCSE in Maths and English.
  • Cert CII and/or Cert CILA.
  • A minimum of 5 years' loss adjusting and claims handling experience, dealing with casualty claims.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Commercial Combined Liability Policies and CAR Policies.
  • Exceptional customer service, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Strong research, investigation, and analytical skills, with a professional and bearing approach in all aspects.
  • A full/clean driving license is essential.
