The Role:

We're seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at The Carpenters Arms, a beautiful countryside pub in Kent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality food.
  • Develop and maintain a passion for producing fresh, seasonal dishes that showcase the best of British cuisine.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to design and deliver new menus and daily specials.
  • Contribute to the development of the kitchen team through training and mentoring.
  • Maintain effective controls on food costs and labour.
  • Drive sales and growth through engagement with the kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience championing excellent service through quality food.
  • Demonstrate a passion to deliver fantastic food every time.
  • Be an active hands-on Chef de Partie / Kitchen Supervisor.
  • Show willingness to learn new skills, be an active team player with excellent communication skills.
