We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team in Coventry. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to individuals living with dementia.

Your New Service:

Our care service specialises in dementia care and support, creating a safe and nurturing environment for our residents. We value teamwork, compassion, and continuous learning, and are committed to excellence in our care provision.

Role Overview:

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  1. Providing compassionate and personalised care to our residents, assisting with daily activities, medication management, and emotional support.
  2. Working closely with our care team, volunteers, and external professionals to create a holistic care plan for each resident.
  3. Monitoring resident's well-being, noting any changes and promptly reporting concerns to the management team.
  4. Showing empathy, patience, and respect to residents and their families, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
Qualifications and Skills:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Care Assistant with:

  1. A relevant qualification in adult social care (NVQ 2 or equivalent).
  2. Effective communication skills for collaborating with residents, families, and colleagues.
  3. A genuine passion for improving the lives of those living with dementia.
