Job Role:

To support the Conformance & Reliability Supervisor in developing and implementing a comprehensive predictive and preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of a safe and healthy work environment through the implementation of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Developing and maintaining short and long-term predictive and preventive maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Reacting to unforeseen events to optimize plant performance on a day-to-day basis.
  • Undertaking repairs and maintenance activities using reliability techniques such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography.
  • Producing timely reports and analysis for the maintenance management team to inform decision-making.
  • Executing small capital projects to ensure they are delivered within budget and to the required quality standards.
Candidate Attributes Required:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A good understanding of condition monitoring and reliability maintenance principles, including predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to integrate with mechanical, electrical, and reliability technicians.
Experience / Qualifications Required:

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of health and safety practices in an engineering environment.
  • A relevant qualification in mechanical engineering, such as an NVQ level 3 or time-served apprenticeship.
  • Experience working in a heavy engineering industry, with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
