We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Presenting accurate monthly valuations to clients: You will be responsible for preparing and presenting accurate monthly valuations to our clients, ensuring that they are aware of the project's progress and any potential issues.
  • Assessing subcontractor valuations: You will assess subcontractor valuations to ensure that they are accurate and in line with our company's policies.
  • Pricing and negotiating variations: You will be responsible for pricing and negotiating variations to contracts, ensuring that they are fair and reasonable.
  • Preparing and submitting final accounts: You will prepare and submit final accounts to clients, ensuring that they are accurate and complete.
  • Procuring downstream subcontracts: You will be responsible for procuring downstream subcontracts, ensuring that they are in line with our company's policies.
  • Negotiating upstream contracts post-tender: You will negotiate upstream contracts post-tender, ensuring that they are fair and reasonable.
  • Contract management generally: You will be responsible for managing contracts, ensuring that they are executed in accordance with our company's policies.

Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum
  • Holidays: 20 days holiday per annum, plus paid Christmas shutdown and bank holidays
