Senior Risk Lawyer Opportunity

Career Legal is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Lawyer to join our team in London. As a Senior Risk Lawyer, you will play a critical role in supporting the Risk & Compliance department in their global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Partner and COLP with daily queries regarding the SRA Code, Standards, Financial Crime, and Ethics
  • Regularly update the Professional Standards Manual and Partners' Guide
  • Review Data Protection policies and procedures on an annual basis
  • Draft policies and procedures in line with changes in regulatory law in various jurisdictions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in legal compliance, preferably from an international law firm
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant areas of law, including contract and tort, AML/Financial Crime, and Data Protection
  • Ability to commute to the London office a minimum of 3 days a week
