Job Title: Senior Risk Lawyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Risk Lawyer to join our team at Taylor Root. As a Senior Risk Lawyer, you will play a key role in managing the firm's insurance arrangements and supporting the Head of Risk & Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of the firm's insurance arrangements, including professional indemnity, management and employment practices liability, and cyber insurance.
  • Handle all claims and complaints against the firm, working closely with the Joint Head of Risk & Compliance/Claims and Complaints Officer and fee-earning partners.
  • Investigate and respond to complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Assist the Regulatory and Insurance team in London with the renewal of the London office insurances and global travel insurance.
  • Prepare and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Risk & Compliance team and the General Counsel in their duties.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with at least 5 years' experience in litigation or managing claims in a law firm and/or insurance company.
  • Experience in insurance and a strong interest in professional indemnity claims.
