Electromagnet Design Engineer Opportunity

Cranleigh Scientific is seeking a talented engineer with a passion for electromagnet design and innovation to join their team in West Sussex.

About the Role

We are looking for a Test Installation & Service Manager to lead the TI&S team, overseeing daily operations, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress. The successful candidate will develop and uphold the TI&S schedule, ensuring all commitments are fulfilled, and manage the engineering team, equipment, and resources within the factory's test areas and at customer locations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embrace a flexible approach to adapt to evolving requirements and proactively manage future workloads.
  • Foster the development of the test team through ongoing training and hands-on experience.
  • Manage the TI&S schedule to ensure all commitments are fulfilled.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the TI&S team, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience in a relevant installation or service engineer/manager role, excellent communication and customer service skills, and be willing to travel internationally.

Candidates should also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing requirements, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Cranleigh Scientific offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000, 25 days holiday + banks, company pension, cycle to work scheme, free on-site parking, and referral programme.
