About the Role

Permanent Position

At Interstate AC Service, we provide a comprehensive range of rental equipment, including air compressors, steam generators, and rig cooling services. Our team designs, installs, and commissions bespoke heat suppression safety systems, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety for operations.

Our remit extends to the provision of qualified and competent personnel for the operating, servicing, and maintaining all rental equipment, affording clients the highest standards of quality and safety for operations. We deliver our products worldwide from our key locations, with a focus on providing enhanced value to our customers by tailoring our specialist skills and engineering capabilities to their precise requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, service, and maintain the hire fleet in accordance with Interstate AC Service maintenance procedures.
  • Prepare equipment to meet Hire Office requirements.
  • Ensure service procedures and standards are followed in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Packaging, maintenance, and operation of company equipment both onshore and offshore as required, following company service guidelines and procedures.
  • Complete service reports, minimum spares stock, and handover sheets as required, following company procedures.
  • Carry out third-party inspections.

Requirements

  • Previous mechanical experience in a similar role.
  • Familiar with pressure testing within a previous role.
  • Work at heights awareness training.
  • Risk assessment training.
  • Offshore survival training, along with an offshore medical certificate.
  • Steam Boiler operating training.
  • H2S awareness training.
