Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at the NEC Group. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our venues, employees, and visitors.
Main Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
- Investigate and report all incidents, including loss, theft, and criminal damage, to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Monitor and maintain fire, security, and building systems to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage crowd safety and queue management to prevent congestion and ensure a smooth event experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the safety of all residents, guests, and staff at our venues.
- Monitor and maintain pedestrian flow at key areas inside and outside the venue.
- Respond to emergency situations in accordance with our Incident and Emergency Plans.
- Deter anti-social behavior, theft, and criminal activity to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- SIA Licence is essential for this role.
- Experience in the security industry or a related field is highly desirable.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- An enthusiastic and proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
- Excellent time-keeping and attendance to ensure timely arrival for pre-event briefings, training, and shift handovers.
