Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a diverse client portfolio, working closely with the senior management team to ensure expectations and deadlines are met
  • Review work prepared by junior team members and provide constructive feedback
  • Liaise with clients, building trusted relationships and proactively handling queries
  • Identify new processes and ways to increase efficiency and improve client satisfaction
  • Research and interpret changes to regulations and ensure compliance
  • Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry developments

Requirements:
  • ACCA/ACA newly qualified or part qualified with recent experience in UK practice
  • Portfolio management experience and a strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Good IT skills and proficiency in accounting software
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and ability to work autonomously
