Design Manager Opportunity in Canada

We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team in Vancouver, Canada. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction design projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design teams to deliver high-quality construction projects
  • Develop and implement design strategies to meet project objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with business goals
  • Manage design budgets and schedules to ensure timely completion
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in design management for commercial, public sector, healthcare, or industrial building projects valued at £40m+
  • Proven track record of delivering design projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage design teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
