Key Responsibilities- Manage and Direct Subcontractor Partners: Oversee the delivery of a large section of external works, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to assess the quality of work carried out by subcontractors, ensuring compliance with programme, design drawings, and quality standards.
- Risk Management and Compliance: Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements from subcontractors to ensure safe and appropriate working methods.
- Site Inductions and Toolbox Talks: Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks to ensure full compliance with Kier's standards.
- Site Logistics and Coordination: Coordinate site logistics, movement of plant and labor, ensuring safety is maintained at all times.
- Issue Reporting and Programme Management: Report any issues or programme slippages to the site/project manager.
- Site Reporting and Administration: Create, log, and file site reports and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Work with the wider project team to find solutions to any challenges that arise.
- Relevant Qualifications: HND/degree in a relevant construction field or equivalent.
- Experience: Prior experience in delivering large build projects within the main contracting environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Sound technical knowledge of external work packages.
- Track Record: A track record of ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
- Certifications: Holding SMSTS 5-day cert, CSCS card, and First Aid cert.
