About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Part Time Chef to join our team at a busy customer site. As a Part Time Chef, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving food to the highest standards in a clean, tidy, and safe environment. You will also supervise a small team of staff and be responsible for meeting budgets and managing cash.

You will work Saturday and Sunday from 8:30am to 2:30pm. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification, such as a Food Hygiene Certificate
  • A Diploma in Professional Cookery, minimum Level 2, such as a C&G 706/2
  • Experience of contract catering
  • Flair and imagination as a chef
  • A good understanding of cost control
  • Good team-working skills with a flexible approach to work and strong leadership skills
