Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Production Engineer to join our team at Euro-projects Recruitment Ltd. As an Apprentice Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating production engineering work instructions for mechanical fitters and developing jigs and tooling for mechanical fitters to use in the strip down and rebuild of mechanical engineering assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and improve strip down and rebuild processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  2. Create and maintain mechanical production engineering work processes and work instructions to ensure compliance and quality.
  3. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and lead continuous improvement efforts to drive business growth.
  4. Design and develop production engineering tooling and assembly jigs to support mechanical fitters.
  5. Develop and maintain production engineering work instructions for fitters to ensure accurate and efficient assembly.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in reading CAD drawings and creating production engineering CAD drawings for assembly tooling and jigs.
  2. Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering, such as an apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or degree.
  3. Experience as a Production Engineer is highly valued, but not required.
