The Role
We're seeking a Care Companion to join our team, providing personalized care and support to our clients in their homes. As a Care Companion, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing companionship and social interaction to our clients
- Assisting with personal care, such as bathing and dressing
- Administering medication and documenting care activities
- Liaising with our office team to discuss client needs and preferences
What We Offer
As a Care Companion with Home Instead, you'll enjoy:
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.00 p/h weekdays and £12.50 p/h weekends, plus holiday pay and pension
- Full-time and part-time roles available, with a minimum of 1-hour client visits
- No uniform required, allowing you to blend in with our clients' families
- Mileage paid at 30p per mile, plus travel time paid
- Double pay on Bank holidays
- Fully paid ongoing in-house training, including the Care Certificate
- 1:1 mentoring from an experienced Care Professional
- Funded study for NVQ Level 2 & 3 Apprenticeship
- A friendly and supportive team environment, with 24/7 on-call support
- Regular staff social events
- Blue Light Card Discount and Carers Card
- Refer a friend scheme up to £200

Qualifications and Requirements
We're looking for kind and compassionate individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults. While formal qualifications are not necessary, we'll provide you with all the training you need to excel in this role.
