At Home Instead, we're dedicated to providing exceptional care and companionship services to older adults in their own homes. Our team of compassionate and trained caregivers build meaningful relationships with our clients, enabling them to live independently with dignity and comfort.

The Role

We're seeking a Care Companion to join our team, providing personalized care and support to our clients in their homes. As a Care Companion, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing companionship and social interaction to our clients
  • Assisting with personal care, such as bathing and dressing
  • Administering medication and documenting care activities
  • Liaising with our office team to discuss client needs and preferences

What We Offer

As a Care Companion with Home Instead, you'll enjoy:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.00 p/h weekdays and £12.50 p/h weekends, plus holiday pay and pension
  • Full-time and part-time roles available, with a minimum of 1-hour client visits
  • No uniform required, allowing you to blend in with our clients' families
  • Mileage paid at 30p per mile, plus travel time paid
  • Double pay on Bank holidays
  • Fully paid ongoing in-house training, including the Care Certificate
  • 1:1 mentoring from an experienced Care Professional
  • Funded study for NVQ Level 2 & 3 Apprenticeship
  • A friendly and supportive team environment, with 24/7 on-call support

Qualifications and Requirements

We're looking for kind and compassionate individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults. While formal qualifications are not necessary, we'll provide you with all the training you need to excel in this role.
