Care Companion

As a Care Companion with Home Instead, you will be working in a unique and rewarding role that involves providing companionship and support to clients in their own homes. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives and build meaningful relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing companionship and social interaction to clients
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing and dressing
- Administering medication and documenting care activities
- Liaising with the office to discuss changing client needs
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of £14.00 p/h weekdays and £14.50 p/h weekends, plus holiday pay and pension
- Full-time and part-time roles available
- 1-hour minimum client visits
- No uniform required
- Mileage paid at 30p per mile
- Double pay on Bank holidays
- Fully paid ongoing in-house training
- 1:1 Mentoring from a dedicated experienced Care Professional
- Funded study for NVQ Level 2 & 3 Apprenticeship
- Access to free EAP Wellbeing Programme
- Full PPE including hand sanitiser, face coverings, gloves, and aprons
Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary, full training and support provided
- Kind and compassionate individual with a desire to make a difference in people's lives
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
