We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Pharmacist Education Specialist to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Consultant Histopathologists and Biomedical Scientists to provide an accurate diagnosis of specimens, contributing to the clinical treatment of patients and their welfare.
Main DutiesThe post holder will be responsible for delivering a timely Histology service, carrying out routine tasks in the laboratory that do not require the specialist skills or training of a Biomedical Scientist.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team performing technical and clerical laboratory duties, including the receipt and processing of tissue samples, preparation for diagnosis, and reporting.
Previous laboratory experience is an advantage, together with an understanding of medical terminology and human anatomy.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- Education to HNC/HND Diploma level or equivalent
