Dale Farm is seeking a skilled professional to fill a critical role in our operations. As a Cheese Grading Administrator, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient management and control of cheese stocks to meet customer satisfaction targets and maximize stock usage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain grading paperwork electronically, adhering to quality management standards and regulatory requirements.

• Allocate and reclassify grading sheets in the stock management system for optimal cheese selection for customers, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.

• Collaborate with sales teams to allocate cheese for internal and external customers, fostering strong relationships and driving business growth.

• Coordinate with storage facilities to ensure adequate cheese stock levels for cutting, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.

• Work across departments to deliver exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Select cheese samples as needed, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.

• Maintain department performance indicators, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Support the team with additional tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Requirements:

• Gained over 3 GCSEs in Maths, English, and a science subject, demonstrating a strong foundation in core subjects.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, with experience in data analysis and reporting.

• Proven record of accurate database maintenance, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Highly organized with keen attention to detail, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, building strong relationships and contributing to a positive team culture.

• Comfortable working under pressure, able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Science or Food-related field, providing a strong foundation in relevant subjects.

• Experience with stock control processes, including inventory management and data analysis.

• Background in food manufacturing (12 months minimum), with knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

• Familiarity with sensory analysis or taste profiling, able to evaluate and select high-quality cheese products.
