Job Title: Band 6 HRBP Advisor
Job Summary:
The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HRBP Advisor to lead an absence management reduction project within the Acute Medicine, ED and Elderly care (AMEDEC) division. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR Business Partnering team to improve the reporting of junior doctor sickness and ensure effective use of the nursing roster system for leave planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective absence management systems and processes to reduce staff absence and improve productivity.
- Work closely with managers to educate them on effective absence management and provide guidance on the sickness absence policy.
- Monitor and analyze absence data to identify trends and develop interventions to reduce sickness.
- Produce regular attendance reports for line managers and department heads.
- Collaborate with the Employee Relations RFH team to ensure a high-quality absence management service to the division.
Requirements:
- CIPD Qualification or studying towards this.
- Experience of working in a complex, multidisciplinary and culturally diverse organization.
- Administrative experience at a senior level, including diary management, booking and arranging meetings/events, and minute taking.
Desirable:
- Experience of advising managers on complex and serious individual and/or collective conflict situations.
- Experience of working in a multi-unionized environment.
- Experience of workforce planning to support divisional strategies.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and understanding of the risks of non-compliance.
Personal Qualities and Attributes:
- A strong customer focus, mirroring the values of the organization.
- Flexible approach, including switching priorities to meet the needs of the service.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to others in a clear, concise and easily understood manner.
- Able to use Microsoft Office and other IT packages to a high level and produce correspondence/reports in a professional and accurate format.
