About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in protecting our corporate security landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and optimize endpoint security solutions, including EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response) to ensure robust protection against cyber threats.
  2. Configure and maintain NDR (Network Detection and Response) systems to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
  3. Implement and manage WAF (Web Application Firewall) solutions to safeguard against web-based attacks.
  4. Set up and fine-tune IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) and IDS (Intrusion Detection System) to prevent and detect unauthorized access.
  5. Perform Layer 7 hardening and manage application firewalls to ensure secure communication between applications.
  6. Implement bot protection and signature blocking mechanisms to prevent malicious bot activity.
  7. Manage infrastructure security for Hyper-V and VMware environments to ensure secure virtualization.
  8. Configure and maintain email security solutions (Mimecast, Office 365) to prevent email-borne threats.
  9. Oversee security configurations across the business to ensure consistency and compliance.
  10. Contribute to ongoing security projects and initiatives to stay ahead of emerging threats.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in corporate security infrastructure management.
  2. Strong knowledge of EDR, NDR, WAF, IPS, and IDS technologies.
  3. Expertise in Layer 7 security and application firewall management.
  4. Experience with bot protection and signature blocking.
  5. Proficiency in Hyper-V and VMware infrastructure security.
  6. Familiarity with email security solutions (Mimecast, Office 365).
  7. Solid understanding of networking principles and infrastructure.
  8. Strong project management and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
  1. Experience with Azure cloud security.
  2. Certifications in relevant security domains (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CCSP).
  3. Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
