Senior Governance Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Governance Manager to join our team at Insight Select. As a key member of our corporate secretariat function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our governance structure.
Key Responsibilities- Support the company secretary and senior leadership team to minimize risk and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
- Stay up-to-date with internal governance changes and ensure that our governance arrangements are effective and efficient.
- Lead on reviews of governance arrangements and ensure that our corporate meeting structure is well-planned and executed.
- Review team effectiveness regularly and work closely with the company secretary to identify areas for improvement.
- Point out and identify process improvements and changes where necessary, and lead on the review of all governance documentation.
- Define board training requirements and ensure that our board members and senior stakeholders have the necessary support to meet their responsibilities.
- Support the company secretary with the maintenance of conflicts of interest and business interests, and ensure that our onboarding process for new directors and senior leaders is thorough and effective.
- Proven experience in a similar role, working as part of a company secretariat function.
- Delivery of high-level services, including agenda management and board-level reports.
- Ideal experience in a public sector background, with expertise in internal governance reviews and the implementation of changes to governance structures.
- Experience in using board portal software and maintaining accurate records for auditable purposes.
- Ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities, and a track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 DOE, a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days per week in the office, and excellent benefits.
