An exceptional opportunity has emerged with PRS, seeking a Technical Operations Manager for a critical pharmaceutical facility.

In this role, you will oversee a team of skilled technicians, ensuring that all contractual commitments are fulfilled while providing necessary technical guidance and mentorship.

The ideal candidate will assist the Key Account Manager in daily operations with reliability, adaptability, and professionalism. You will be responsible for ensuring that all mandatory inspections are performed and accurately recorded in the appropriate logs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance statistics through the eLogbook system, generating comprehensive reports.
  • Oversee the Training Matrix to ensure all personnel are adequately trained in their required competencies for effective site operations.
  • Lead the team in compliance with established procedures and policies, prioritizing their overall wellbeing and health & safety standards.
  • Ensure the Weekly Engineering Planner is effectively managed, guaranteeing that all contractual obligations are met and that clients are informed of any staffing shortages or delays.
  • Supervise the performance of subcontractors under annual agreements, providing feedback to Procurement regarding any issues.
  • Utilize and manage Help Desk systems to monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and staff performance, ensuring optimal service delivery.
  • Oversee critical engineering infrastructure and maintain a risk register, reporting on the availability of essential systems.

Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • Electrical (BS7671 18th Edition).
  • Electrical (C&G2391 Inspection and Testing).
  • C&G Mechanical & HVAC.

It is essential to possess up-to-date knowledge of current technical standards related to Fire Alarm Systems, Generators, COSHH, Electrical Services, High Voltage (HV) & Alternating Current (AC), and Water Systems Treatment.
