CNC Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team at Tandem Recruitment Group. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating CNC milling machines and lathes to produce high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine standard and bespoke components for various machines.
  • Machine parts using CNC lathes and mills.
  • Keep records of time and material used on jobs.
  • Support engineering and production with any changes to machine build.
  • Support engineering with parts for research and development.
Requirements:
  • Some experience in programming using Fanuc or Siemens.
  • Knowledge of working with Prototract, SLX, Siemens, Shopmill.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings.
  • Mechanical skills.
  • General problem-solving skills and practical aptitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and display a willingness to learn and put skills into practice.
  • Excellent communication skills.
