Job Title: CNC Machinist

Department: Machine Shop

Main Purpose of Job: To program and set up CNC machines to optimize machine tool efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program and set up a range of CNC machine tools to required standards.

2. Establish optimum cutting conditions to maximize efficiency.

3. Deputize as required for Shift Supervisor.

4. Load and unload CNC machines safely and efficiently.

5. Work from and interpret engineering drawings and use inspection/measuring equipment to Company standards.

6. Perform routine maintenance as required.

7. Ensure machines and work area are cleaned and tidied regularly.

8. Complete relevant documentation on a routine basis.

9. Comply with all Health and Safety Regulations within the Company.

10. Ensure all CNC machines and data are backed up regularly.
