About the Role

Pure 4 Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in the Midlands and North Region. As an External Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing relationships with our broker community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Enquiries and Structuring
    • Work directly with introducers to structure complex cases that fit within our credit policy.
  • Strategic Relationship Building
    • Plan and maintain a strategic diary of appointments to develop credible and trust-based relationships with our introducer base.
  • New Business Development
    • Actively seek and grow new sources of business from inbound enquiry, requests for broker registration, existing contracts, industry journals, and elsewhere.
  • Sales Growth and Target Achievement
    • Maximise bridging & BTL sales from our introducer base by building relationships, identifying competitive advantage, and other opportunities such as product innovation.
    • Achieve agreed quarterly & annual targets for each lending division set out and agreed with our Managing Director (Sales).
  • Account Management and Reporting
    • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of our products and services.
    • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of competitors and our competitive advantages.
    • Record all contacts and details of meetings on our CRM system (Impact).
    • Reporting as required on progress.
  • General Responsibilities
    • Any matters required to be done to assist in the achievement of our company's budget and business development plans.
Requirements
  • Minimum Experience
    • Bridging & Property BDM background preferred, however, we will consider other BDM backgrounds within the financial services sector such as Buy to Lets, Development, and Commercial.
    • Minimum 3 years experience.
    • Ability to communicate on different levels, both verbally and in writing. Also confident presenting in front of small and large audiences.
  • Technical Knowledge
    • Professional communications skills, able to communicate with businesses and colleagues by telephone, email, and face-to-face.
    • Liaising with Introducers and/or external customers.
    • Highly motivated individual, committed to providing outstanding service to customers and clients.
  • Interpersonal Skills
    • Excellent presentation (verbal/written) and relationship building skills.
    • Ability to collaborate, build trust, and influence at senior level.
    • Demonstrable professional integrity and a strong work ethic.
    • Confidence to challenge actions and behaviours that are not consistent with policies and best interests of the business and its customers.
