Position Overview

Lead Environmental Advisor (Remote or Hybrid)

PropSource Consulting is a prominent consultancy firm looking for a Lead Environmental Advisor to support various infrastructure, energy, and residential initiatives nationwide.

The ideal candidate will take charge of environmental planning initiatives, offering expert guidance throughout all phases of project development while collaborating with diverse teams. Responsibilities include conducting environmental and sustainability evaluations, managing project timelines, mentoring junior team members, and enhancing the team's visibility in the industry.

Key Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process at all development stages
  • Experience with both Town & Country Planning Act (TCPA) and Development Consent Order (DCO) frameworks
  • Familiarity with additional assessments, such as health impact evaluations and sustainability reviews (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong project management capabilities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints
  • Relevant academic qualifications and membership in a recognized professional organization (e.g., IEMA)
