As a Senior Support Worker, your responsibilities will include coaching and mentoring your team, providing ongoing support such as supervision and identifying training requirements. You will also manage the creation of monthly rotas, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints while guaranteeing that all staff fulfill their contracted hours. On-call responsibilities will be assigned to you on a rotational basis.

In partnership with the Team Manager, part of your duties will involve engaging with external health professionals and facilitating meetings with supported individuals and their significant others to develop precise and effective person-centered support plans. You will adeptly match the individuals we support with appropriate staff members, taking into account the specific outcomes and objectives established for each person.

Preferred Qualifications;

Experience working with individuals with autism and familiarity with positive behavior support approaches. Possession of a driving license and access to a vehicle.

Our Senior Support Workers typically work Monday to Friday; however, there may be occasions when you will need to cover on-call shifts. Depending on service requirements, these shifts may include evenings, sleepovers, waking nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Interested in this opportunity? We look forward to your application.

Please note that all successful applicants will undergo PVG checks; having a conviction will not automatically disqualify you from employment in this sector. All new hires will be required to register with the SSSC within six months of their start date.
