As a Community Emergency Volunteer (CEV), you will join a dedicated team of trained individuals who respond to emergency situations in your local area, providing essential patient care, including basic life support, until professional medical teams arrive.

Key Responsibilities
In this volunteer capacity, you will willingly provide crucial community services without financial compensation. This role is immensely rewarding, offering opportunities to connect with others and acquire vital lifesaving skills through comprehensive training provided by the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
Candidates should possess a well-rounded education, a valid driving license held for a minimum of one year with a maximum of six penalty points, and access to a vehicle that is legally compliant. After the initial selection process, shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview where they should demonstrate an understanding of the role and the organization. Successful candidates will be required to complete the Level 3 Award for First Responders on Scene during their training.
