About the Job
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all commercial and financial aspects of large energy infrastructure projects. This includes preparing and negotiating commercial and financial terms and conditions with customers, as well as leading negotiations of legal terms and conditions with the support of the legal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commercial aspects of the bid, including contract analysis, cost calculation, business models, financing concepts, currency, hedging, risks and opportunities, bonds, terms of payment, credit rating, insurances, export control, and compliance.
- Support the pre-qualification process and relationship management with external project stakeholders, customers, consortium partners, and internal functions.
- Actively create and implement the commercial offer strategy and define business models based on business, customer, and tax regulations.
- Understand customers' requirements, evaluation methods, and criteria, as well as competitors' commercial conditions and pricing strategies.
- Develop a draft of risk and opportunity overview and participate in negotiation of commercial customer T&Cs and consortium contracts.
- Ensure correctness of appropriate approvals in accordance with actual negotiations and support business partner processes.
- Provide lessons learned on a contractually and financially comparable project basis and support optimization of sales/bid processes based on lessons learned.
Requirements
- ≥ 4 years of commercially managing category ≥ C external customer bids, thereof up to two years can be counted as responsible CPM managing external customer projects of category ≥ C.
- Managed at least more than two complex bids of category ≥ C.
- Worked in international bids and intercultural teams.
