Job Description

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join a reputable and successful firm of chartered accountants based in the region. As a key member of the account team, you will work in a general practice capacity, providing expert financial guidance to clients and overseeing a small team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, reporting to the Directors/Partners, and provide expert financial guidance to ensure their success.
  • Review and prepare financial statements, including accounts consolidations and draft corporation tax returns, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Support clients with management accounts and fundamental tax planning, ensuring they are well-equipped to make informed business decisions.
Requirements
  • Hold a professional accounting qualification, such as ACA or ACCA, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Have experience working with owner-managed business clients in an independent or mid-tier firm.
  • Be able to review and prepare financial statements with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be competent in running meetings with clients and providing expert financial guidance.
  • Have a good understanding of corporation tax and VAT.
