About the Role

Necto Search and Selection is currently recruiting for a seasoned P6/Primavera Planner to join a leading Irish contractor with operations across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project team to develop a comprehensive construction program.
  • Work with the project team to create detailed design and procurement programs and schedules.
  • Primary liaison with the Project Manager and Site Managers to review project progress.
  • Monitor critical activities on the project program.
  • Report progress to internal stakeholders and external clients, comparing planned and actual progress.
  • Assist in the development of monthly progress reports.
  • Present information for internal meetings on the project.
  • Control and record program revisions.
  • Participate in project meetings and discussions with clients as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers to organize the phases of the works package.

Requirements:

  • Construction qualification preferred.
  • All levels of experience in construction planning considered.
  • Previous use of P6 is essential.
  • IT literacy with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to interact with all project personnel.
  • Well-organized with a methodical, energetic, proactive, and confident approach to work.
  • Ability to work to deadlines individually and as part of a team.
