About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Ltd. As an Electronic Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing analogue and digital electrical circuit designs and solutions to support the development of cutting-edge equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Designing electrical and electronic solutions for defined requirements
  • Selecting and evaluating components and parts
  • Generating test, interface, and supplier documentation
  • Assisting the test department in initial first-of-class (prototype) testing
  • Authoring reports, giving presentations, and meeting with clients and management
Person Specification

To be a successful candidate for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes and skillsets:

  • HND or a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field
  • Experience of circuit design, simulation, layout, testing, and evaluation for prototypes and production units
  • Knowledge of PCB layout software is highly desirable
  • Ability to design wiring interconnection systems
  • Ability to create interface and equipment specifications
  • Ability to create test specifications for designs, testing, and to support interdepartmental testing of equipment
Working Hours and Benefits

The working hours are Monday-Thursday 8:15am-5:00pm and Friday 8:15am-12:45pm. You will be rewarded with an above-market rate salary that reflects your skills and experience. In addition, you will receive 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension, free parking, and other benefits.
