The Role: Senior Financial Analyst
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving financial performance and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive monthly management accounts, taking ownership of the Group's Profit & Loss (P&L) statement and conducting thorough variance analysis.
- Collaborate closely with regional teams to gain a deep understanding of their financial performance and generate meaningful reports for stakeholders across the organization.
- Analyze actual costs against budgets and prior periods, identifying key drivers behind variances and partnering with business units to communicate these insights effectively.
- Contribute to the implementation of a new consolidation system, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, preparing essential schedules and facilitating a smooth audit process.
- Work with the finance team to develop innovative, automated, and controlled financial processes, continuously seeking improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business needs and contribute to global initiatives aimed at enhancing operational excellence.
Skills & Experience:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
- Proven experience in a group finance function.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence management and present financial information clearly to non-financial audiences.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in both management and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement in finance processes.
- A positive attitude and the ability to set a high standard for team performance.
