We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced mental health professional to join our CAMHS West community team as a trainee in systemic family therapy. The successful candidate will have a recognized professional qualification in nursing, social work, or occupational therapy and a strong understanding of mental health disorders in children and young people.
The role involves working with young people and their families, providing assessment, treatment, and evaluation of treatment provided to clients referred to the team. The trainee will be supported to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Systemic Family Therapy and will receive supervision from an experienced systemic family therapist.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake the Postgraduate Diploma in Systemic Family Practice
- Work as a trainee in the CAMHS West community team, providing assessment, treatment, and evaluation of treatment provided to clients
- Develop knowledge, skills, and competency in systemic family therapy for adolescents with self-harm/depression and their families and for young people with conduct problems
Essential
- Recognized professional qualification in nursing, social work, or occupational therapy
- Evidence of continuous post-qualifying professional development
Desirable
- Post-qualifying training in therapeutic interventions
