About the Role:

  • Develop electronic and electrical hardware design for defence applications, including naval, marine aviation, and general defence systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop electrical and electronic systems and products.
  • Apply risk mitigation and ALARP principles to ensure safe and reliable design.
  • Utilize Electrical and PCB CAD software (SolidWorks or Altium preferred) and Product Data Management systems to manage design and development.
  • Compile and deliver Contract Data Requirements Lists to meet client needs.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience of electrical and electronic systems and product design.
  • Solid understanding and demonstrable experience of risk mitigation and ALARP.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Electrical and PCB CAD software (SolidWorks or Altium preferred) along with Product Data Management systems.
