About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Advisory Manager to join our team at Teneo. As a key member of our Financial Advisory Restructuring Tax team, you will play a critical role in providing tax advice on the restructuring of financially distressed businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our financial advisory colleagues and external stakeholders to understand the complex commercial and legal requirements of each restructuring transaction.
  • Develop a strategy for achieving the commercial aims in a tax-efficient manner.
  • Prepare reports outlining the steps necessary to meet the aims of the transaction.
  • Advise insolvency practitioners on the tax consequences of their intended actions.
  • Support the business development activities of the team.
  • Contribute to the technical and personal development training of the broader team.

Requirements

  • ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Strong UK tax technical skills.
  • Strong communication, team-playing, and project management skills.
  • The ability to perform strongly under pressure.
