We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bodyshop Team Leader to join our team at Meenz in Glasgow, Scotland.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the bodyshop department, ensuring the efficient and effective completion of vehicle refurbishment and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage the flow of day-to-day operations, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality results.
- Allocate and manage workloads, ensuring team members meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintain a high level of quality control.
- Prepare vehicles for re-spray, repair damaged bodywork, and refurbish alloys, among other tasks.
- Assist with managing team performance, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
- Ensure all team members perform quality control checks on completion of work to guarantee defect-free results.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification (ATA, NVQ, BTEC, City & Guilds) and/or a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in leading a team and excellent communication skills.
- Solid understanding of vehicle safety procedures and vehicle refurbishment/body repair processes.
- Ability to meet targets and deadlines, with a high level of motivation and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
