Job Title: Plumbing Lecturer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Lecturer to join our team at Norwich City College. As a Plumbing Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and training to our students, ensuring they gain the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the plumbing industry.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, requiring 6 hours of work per week, 52 weeks per year. The successful candidate will have up-to-date industry skills, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, and a Level 3 qualification in plumbing. You will be responsible for instilling best practices and shaping the next generation of plumbing and domestic heating, gas, and renewables technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and training to students
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans and training programs
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the plumbing and domestic heating curriculum
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Up-to-date industry skills and experience
  • A Level 3 qualification in plumbing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • A passion for teaching and training
