With over 40 years of expertise, G&H | ITL stands as a premier partner in the comprehensive design, development, and production of essential medical technologies, diagnostic tools, and laboratory equipment. We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist to efficiently manage orders, ensuring timely placement and adherence to our approved supplier network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and expedite outstanding orders
- Accurately input data into the company’s inventory management system
- Transform received orders into procurement reports
- Maintain the integrity of the manufacturing database
- Document client orders within the department
- Review and authorize all purchase orders in line with established signing authority
- Assess and resolve stock discrepancies
- Generate relevant procurement action reports
- Place inventory orders based on client requests
- Process non-inventory orders against duly authorized requisitions
- Distribute supplier schedules as necessary
- Assist with the Non-Production Purchasing operations
- Adhere to company standards as outlined in the Quality Assurance Manual and Standard Operating Procedures
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations and ensure all procedures are followed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement within a fast-paced technical manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with manufacturing protocols for medical device production and distribution, including knowledge of ISO 13485
- Experience with relevant ERP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- CIPS certification is a plus
- Strong decision-making abilities
