About the Role

The Equity Specialist Sales team sits within the Capital Markets function and works closely with the trading, research, and corporate departments. This role could sit in either Dublin or London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate fees through selling research to new and existing institutional clients
  • Generate trade ideas to earn commissions on trading and CSA
  • Assist in the execution of large block trades
  • Distribute structured trades such as IPOs and secondary sell-downs
  • Expand and deepen the distribution reach of the firm through new business development, which will involve regular travel
  • Build specialist sales knowledge in specific sectors of excellence for Goodbody
Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience working within equity sales, research, corporate finance, corporate broking, or portfolio management
  • Series 7 & 63 or a willingness to achieve these qualifications
  • Relevant stockbroking and regulatory exams
  • CFA Charter holder or willing to sit for it would be viewed favorably
