About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lawyer to join our legal team at Taylor Root. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial contracts, including new customer services outsourcing contracts, customer contract renewals, general procurement contracts, IT contracts, and providing commercially focused legal advice and support to the business.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will be involved in a broad spectrum of commercial legal work, including dealing with commercial landlord and tenant, public procurement, and TUPE. You will work collaboratively across the organisation and legal team to deliver commercially focused legal advice and support to the business.

About You

We are looking for a proactive, business and solution-oriented individual with at least 2 PQE, having trained in a top UK law firm. Experience within the logistics, manufacturing, environmental services, water industry, and other sectors, including services outsourcing and infrastructure development, would be advantageous. Ideally, you would have experience of working in a fast-paced in-house environment and be commercially astute.
