About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our team at Taylor Root. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to our clients in the logistics sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial contracts, including new customer services outsourcing contracts, customer contract renewals, general procurement contracts, IT contracts, and other related agreements.
  • Deliver commercially focused legal advice and support to the business, ensuring that our clients' interests are protected and their goals are achieved.
  • Deal with commercial landlord and tenant, public procurement, and TUPE matters, providing expert guidance and support to our clients.
  • Work collaboratively with our clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and industry developments, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible advice and support.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a top UK law firm.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across the organisation and legal team.
  • Strong business and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering results-driven legal advice.
  • Experience in the logistics, manufacturing, environmental services, water industry, and other sectors, including services outsourcing and infrastructure development, is highly desirable but not essential.
