Position: IT Sourcing Category Lead
Location: Frimley, Surrey (1 day onsite per week)
Employment Type: Permanent
Compensation: £60,000-£80,000 (Dependent on Experience) + bonus + benefits

Key Responsibilities:
The IT Sourcing Category Lead will be instrumental in driving the organization’s strategy to enhance IT capabilities through the implementation of advanced IT outsourcing frameworks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Evaluating current IT service agreements and meticulously documenting the commercial procedures necessary for transitioning away from existing providers.
  • Creating and overseeing forums dedicated to managing the commercial aspects of the exit process, ensuring thorough documentation of outcomes and supplier performance governance.
  • Providing internal reports on the risks, costs, and implications associated with exit strategies to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with internal change management teams to ensure adherence to performance metrics during transition and exit phases.
  • Engaging with suppliers and stakeholders across the UK as required.

Essential Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Proven experience in procurement, particularly in strategic sourcing or category management.
  • A robust technical understanding of IT suppliers, including outsourced contracts, software licensing, and IT services.
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement and supplier relationship management.
  • The ability to travel regularly to meet with suppliers throughout the UK.
