**About the Role**:
**Base Location**: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:

- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant, Belfast or Dublin.

**Salary**: £37,600 - £56,400 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

As Procurement Operations Lead you will support the Head of Procurement Efficiency and Data Management in improving operational performance and identifying efficiencies across the function. You will work with the Category Managers across the Procurement Operations teams to provide guidance and help improve performance, sourcing and post contract processes to further enhance stakeholder relationships.

You will have the opportunity to define and recommend strategies to deliver continuous improvement and contribute to the implementation of ongoing change initiatives which help drive great customer service and enhanced value leadership on our journey to become a data-led Procurement function.
- Drive improvement of performance of Procurement Operations team and key department objectives.
- Interface with all areas of P&C to drive efficiencies which will maximise performance whilst maintaining or improving customer service and quality.
- Proactive and effective support of the wider Procurement team including promoting education and best practice relating to performance improvements across all Proc Ops team.
- Identifying, influence and promote process improvements that increase efficiency across Procurement and work as part of delivery team to implement solutions.
- Develop and execute category management improvements in conjunction with category managers including ensuring regular updates of How To Buy Guides and Pages, establishing Preferred Supplier Lists and appropriate buying channels.

**What do I need?**:
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Source to Contract - you understand and can independently progress through the various stages of a source to contract cycle.
- Experience of Utilities Contract Regulations 2016 would be an advantage.
- Demonstrable stakeholder engagement and managements skills are essential.
- Proficient in Procurement related systems e.g. Jaggaer, Oracle, PowerBI.
- Relevant Professional Qualifications: CIPS or working towards, an undergraduate degree.
- Extensive experience of procurement or supply chain management with a focus on data management (preferable)
