We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that is engaging, stimulating, and age-appropriate for children in the nursery.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed by staff members in the nursery.
  • Organize the staff in the room, ensuring continuous cover for the children adhering to ratios.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring that they are kept informed about their child's progress and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring that these records are up-to-date and accessible to parents and carers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a nursery setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education.
  • All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.

This is a permanent role with flexible working options available. The nursery is passionate about developing the potential of their staff through training and offers a company pension and company events.
