Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team at our Hove nursery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in the nursery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a curriculum that is engaging, stimulating, and age-appropriate for children in the nursery.
  2. Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed by staff members in the nursery.
  3. Organise the staff in the room, ensuring continuous cover for the children adhering to ratios.
  4. Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring that they are kept informed about their child's progress and development.
  5. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring that these records are up-to-date and accessible to parents and carers.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  2. At least 2 years of experience working in a nursery setting.
  3. A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education.
  4. All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.

The nursery is passionate about developing the potential of their staff through training. Flexible working options are available, and the role is an immediate start. We are open to discussing flexible working options with candidates, including part-time and full-time hours for this role.
