Main Duties of the Job

As a Youth Worker, you will lead the development of services for young people, ensuring they are at the heart of what we do. You will act as an advocate and source of support, working flexibly to provide a varied programme of personal, social, and educational developmental activities. This will include face-to-face, online, and group settings, with a wide range of young people.

Our trust serves the people of Doncaster, Bassetlaw, and beyond, with three main hospital sites and additional services. We are proud to provide a range of specialist services, including vascular surgery, breast care, and renal dialysis. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality care, and we are looking for someone who shares our values and passion for supporting young people.

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with experience of working as a Youth Worker in an acute health setting, as well as experience of working with young people in a variety of settings. You will need to have a Youth Work Degree and 3-5 years of post-qualification experience. You should also have experience of project management, audit projects, and the ability to organise and facilitate day and residential visits/outings with young people.
