Job Title: Lead Engineer – Product Compliance Assurance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verifying that the product meets safety standards throughout the procurement and manufacturing phases.
  • Ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety requirements through comprehensive verification processes at both system and overall project levels.
  • Assisting in the execution of design and safety classification configuration assessments as necessary.
  • Contributing to the development of product verification strategies, including those related to procurement.
  • Supporting activities that require input and assistance during configuration evaluations.
  • Conducting focused and routine inspections.
  • Generating surveillance documentation.
  • Engaging in problem-solving and root cause analysis of failures.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Product Verification or Quality Assurance and build compliance.
  • Technical expertise in Safety Assessments, evidence collection, and risk evaluation.

Desirable:

  • Experience in conducting technical investigations or audits.
  • Engineering Chartership or progress towards it.

About the Product Verification Team:

As a Lead Engineer in Product Compliance Assurance, your primary focus will be to ensure that product design intentions and safety criteria are fulfilled during the procurement and manufacturing processes. You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for specific boat systems verification, which will involve conducting assurance activities.
