Job Title: Data Lead

JD Group is seeking a highly skilled Data Lead to join our team. As a Data Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting the Finance function's Finance Transformation programme.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal IT architects and systems owners to understand and document business and data process flows, integrations, and identify opportunities for automation and remediation of current data flows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and scope data-related work, reviewing and building out data-related plans addressing data cleansing, master data requirements, and potential ongoing governance requirements.
  • Provide input to the scoping and setup of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) within the Consolidation system to future-proof the deployment.
  • Support the delivery of three high-priority projects from a data scoping, cleansing, and implementation perspective.
  • Take the lead in the Discovery phase and subsequent recommendations to identify data-related scope, potential solutions, plans, resourcing, and inform the overall roadmap for the relevant scope area.

Requirements:

  • Data management, data diagnostic, and integration expertise.
  • Development and use of data analytics tools to enable data quality metrics and hygiene management.
  • Direct experience in the setup of Master Data Management practices.
  • Knowledge and expertise associated with the setup of a global data governance model.
